This year's Festival poster was created by local artist, Mic Carlson.

The poster is a beautiful mix of color and energy, things that we feel embody the Festival spirit and diversity of Grand Rapids.

Mic is also holding a fun exhibition with brand new paintings and mini-sculptures in the Waters building at "bite" restaurant Thursday, June 1st and Friday, June 2nd. View the painting by clicking on learn more.

Saint Francis Prayer and Meditation Garden

Instruments of Hope, a local non profit dedicated to education through reflection on the spiritual lives of men and women whose philosophies have had significant impact on society, is partnering with St. Ann's Home to build an outdoor meditation garden on a serene and secluded area of its property. This will be a place for residents and visitors to relax, reflect, and connect with their faith and loved ones.

Artist donates an original painting of Debbie Reynolds to the Broadway Theater

Mic with Debbie Reynolds and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gainey

Mic Carlson was asked to create an original painting of Debbie Reynolds for the live auction for the Broadway Theater Guild annual fundraiser at the DeVos Place May of 2006.

The highest bid went to Harvey Gainey
